With success on the domestic market an undisputed fact, work got under way to spread the idea of living under the sloping roof to other parts of the world. The first step out into the world was a licence agreement with neighbouring Sweden.
A giant step was taken when KR and his German partner, E.G. Albers, started up production and sales of VELUX roof windows in Germany. In 1954, VELUX entered the UK market. |
